Attentive has launched Concierge, an AI-powered conversational SMS experience that allows customers to complete entire shopping journeys through text messaging. The system can answer product questions, check inventory, apply discount codes, and process purchases — all within a standard SMS thread. For Shopify merchants, Concierge integrates directly with the Shopify storefront to pull real-time product and inventory data. Attentive reports that early adopters have seen average order values 34% higher than standard promotional SMS campaigns, as the conversational format allows for upsells and cross-sells based on customer responses. The company has trained Concierge on millions of customer service conversations to handle edge cases gracefully. Concierge is currently available to Attentive Enterprise customers, with mid-market plans expected in Q3 2026.
